Fight The Walrus
Studio project which I started at the outset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. I had been wanting to revisit my funk-fusion roots for many years and with everything else on hold. This was the perfect opportunity. I set about writing and recording original compositions in various funky styles and the result will be slowly released. The first two singles will hit Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, Etc on April 22nd and 29th. More will follow.
This is a studio band project. Meaning that it will likely never be performed live, I wrote and recorded all the parts. With the exception being a few compositions where I collaborated with the fabulous Charlie Rose Blu as a co-writer, working out lyrics and vocal parts.
Charlie & The Gypsy
Charlie and the Gypsy is a jazz duet. Recording fresh takes on old tunes as well as premiering original music. Exhibiting a stylistically diverse array of sounds. Their influences run the spectrum of sounds from world music, neo-soul to rock, blues and straight ahead jazz.
Ambient Solo Piano
This project features spontaneous compositions recorded in one take. I then add various sound design elements to the compositions.
